Participating Locations:

Project Overview

This study aims to determine if adding bone marrow aspirate concentrate in the setting of arthroscopic debridement can provide improved symptom relief.

Project Details

Currently, patients that have symptoms due to degenerative meniscus tears and early arthritis are commonly treated with non-operative modalities. However, in at least 30% of patients injections and physical therapy to not provide sustained relief. Similarly, patients with this level of disease that undergo arthroplasty typically have residual pain. Therefore, this study aims to determine if adding bone marrow aspirate concentrate in the setting of arthroscopic debridement can provide improved symptom relief.
