Chief of Staff

As the Chief of Staff (COS) to the founder & CEO at PatientIQ, you’ll partner with the CEO to consult on key decisions, lead strategic workstreams, and be a key confidant across a variety of projects. You’ll be a critical partner to the leadership team organizing staff meetings, calibrating the overall operating rhythm of the business, and driving initiatives out of the office of the CEO.

This role requires a highly resourceful, self-driven individual with the ability to learn quickly, synthesize ideas, partner with key stakeholders, and execute. At times, you’ll be driving the company’s overall rhythm of the business through operational reviews, leadership off-sites, and company-wide events. At other times, you’ll be identifying opportunities for improvement across the business and working with the right leaders to make an impact swiftly. Your ultimate goal is to ensure the CEO’s time is used most effectively in our results-driven culture.   • Act as a liaison between the CEO and key internal and external stakeholders, including the Board of Directors, senior management, employees, and clients.
  • Provide strategic support to the CEO by preparing materials and advising on key decisions and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategic plans and ensure alignment with the overall business objectives.
  • Assist with administrative items as necessary to ensure meetings are productive and action items are delegated and tracked to completion
  • Succinctly update the CEO on important issues, supported with facts and recommendations to aid decision-making.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and provide regular updates to the CEO on progress toward achieving company goals.
  • Provide analytical support by creating reports & presentations for the various projects


  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a similar field
  • 4+ years experience in management consulting, financial services, investment banking, or other highly strategic, analytical positions
  • Strong executive communication skills and tangible experience synthesizing complex details into accessible and precise deliverables for C-level leaders
  • Proven project management experience - you can think across multiple dimensions of a business and work cross-functionally to deliver results
  • Very comfortable with a fast-paced, high-demand, always-evolving environment
  • Eager to grow professionally, and happy to roll up your sleeves to get any job done
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, curious and excited about rapid-growth start-up
  • Proficient in Google Suite, Excel & Powerpoint (CRM knowledge is a plus)
  • Must be based in the Greater Chicago area and willing to come onsite to our downtown Chicago office
