How Boston Sports & Shoulder Center Manages Online Reputation & Satisfaction

Boston Sports & Shoulder Center (BSSC), a top-tier orthopedic surgery private practice based out of Massachusetts, has partnered with PatientIQ to modernize their digital strategy for patient engagement. The team at PatientIQ is excited to launch the 14-surgeon practice on their recently upgraded Online Reputation & Satisfaction solution that is geared toward improving search engine optimization (SEO) and building trust and transparency with the patient community. Providing practices with leading technology to improve healthcare delivery and the patient experience is part of our core mission at PatientIQ.

Leveraging an athenahealth electronic health record (EHR) integration, the PatientIQ software platform will automatically capture satisfaction surveys via SMS after patient visits at the practice.  In addition to quantifying the patient experience for operational insights, such as how satisfied patients are with the clinic and provider experience, the platform will also give patients an opportunity to share their feedback on public channels, such as Google Reviews, Facebook, Healthgrades, and Vitals.

Perhaps the most exciting part of the new partnership is how the PatientIQ Online Reputation Module will now provide the practice administrators at BSSC with real-time dashboards for monitoring their online reputation, including the ability to effortlessly respond to reviews across all channels from a centralized dashboard. BSSC can also use our built-in review amplification tools to display reviews anywhere on their website, and place positive review widgets on the web pages where patients convert and help streamline their evaluation process.
